Here's a little known fact about honey! Did you know that unopened vessels of honey were found in ancient Egyptian pyramids? When these containers were opened the honey inside was just as tasty as if it were sealed yesterday instead of thousands of years ago.

It seems that if honey is sealed (in preferably a glass container) and unopened it can last indefinitely. This is great to know if you're one of those people that likes to keep the pantry stocked!
