tea tree relived bull nettle on horse
by: dee

went riding thru the national forest in mid-Texas and my horse walked thru some bull nettle. his legs developed round red sores and the legs swelled from hock to knee.
i wasn't sure what to do about the situation or how to relieve my horses discomforts. all i had was tea tree oil in my medicince cabinet on the trailer, which i use faithfull for bug stings and other irritants i come across when horse riding. so i tried it on my horses stung legs and sores. After about an hour the sores and the swelling were completely gone. there were other riders out on that trail with me, and they used other equine products, but didn't have the fast results i had with the tea tree oils. now everyone is buying the tea tree oil for emergency and quick fix on trail rides for themselves and their horses.
