Remedy for bee stings

The wasps are always crawling around our back door. They love to build behind the siding. I walked out the door last week and got stung on two fingers. I had remember hearing that Witch Hazel(liquid) would get rid of the stinging and swelling. Within an hour of rubbing it on my fingers, the swelling and the pain was gone. And there was no itching that usually comes with healing.
