Iodine for infections
by: Jodi

Hi,
Any of the "drawing" poultices could be very effective but because of your daughters age and the location of the infection a poultice will be very difficult to keep in place for any length of time. I would try Betadine or an iodine tincture. Iodine is absorbed through the skin and can be very effective in treating infections. Either can be purchased inexpensively at any drugstore. Reapply the iodine to the infected area after the yellowish stain disappears. I think you'll have quick results!
Good luck and let us know if this works!
