Poultice of Figs

I have never heard the word poultice before so on december 28 2010 I was reading my bible, and I was in the book of Isaiah 38. I read this same chapter days ago, and for some reason I was lead back there to read and came upon verse 21 where Isaiah said "Prepare a poultice of figs and apply it to the boil and he will recover." so of course never seen the word before I got on my laptop and went to the dictionary to find out what the word meant, and I was astonished to see that there were so many poultice used for different things all coming from natural sources from the bible. Well praise be to God. I have used garlic for my sinus infection in the form of a tea because its a natural antibiotic.

I too have only just read this and I have studied Gods word for a long time, amazing how a live His Word is and the way He reveals things in His timing. What an amazing God we have :-)

I too have read the Bible a few times and every day a different book for Mass and Isaiah over over many many times this is the 1st I seen "poultice of fig" as one of the commenters says about how God makes you see certain things. I totally agreed that’s what happened to me today 1st reading was Isaiah 38:1-6, 21-22, 7-8. I too took to my computer to see the meaning and the health benefits..God gave us Natural ingredients in the Bible for our HEALING HEALTH...
I have just ran across in 2 Kings 20 of how God heals Hezekiah with a lump or poultice of figs. I bought some yesterday, fresh figs, but be careful if you have cats. Mine couldn't even be in the room

I read in Hezekiah 20 of how God healed Hezekiah with a lump of figs, or some versions, poultice. I bought some yesterday, could only find at Whole foods, but after a mammogram-sonogram and biopsy this week, I knew God was speaking directly to me. I will have to find a way to do this during the day when I'm not around my cats, as figs are TOXIC to them, and I noticed them wheezing right away, just in the room with them. It stopped when I removed the figs.
Figs really do heal

Two days ago on Monday morning I discovered a very large painful looking lump next to my dogs bottom , I bathed it in apple cider vinegar and on Monday evening applied the fruit pulp of fresh figs to it , half an hour later the very large boil burst ouzing some very horrible pus shrinking to half its size , I'm continuing with the treatment for a few more days but that's to ensure complete healing . My dog is back to being his happy playful self .

While going thru my trials and tribulations of being a single parent with an adult child, God woke me up early to read before preparing for work.
God lead me to the Old Testament; Hezekiah’s Prayer:
2 Kings 19. I too looked up the word "Poultice figs"...a home remedy. What amazes me is God chose to heal Hezekiah’s boils using food/things from the earth instead of speaking the word. AWESOME!
Hezekiah’s prayers were answered immediately; even when the Prophet Isaiah was told to tell Hezekiah to put his house in order because Hezekiah was going to die. Hezekiah reminded God how he served Him faithfully.
God keeps His promises. God is able to do just what He said He would do.
Now, my cup is runned over and I too must pray with faith and trust that God hears my prayers and he may not come when I want Him to but, it will be the exact time needed. I must keep the faith in believing that God knows me better than I know myself. He’s my Creator. He’s my Rock. He’s whatever I need.
In closing, I shall not be moved. Just like a tree planted by the water. Hallelujah! God is a Healer! WHAT GOD WILL NOT DO, JUST WONT BE DONE.
