Pineapple Weed is a Wild Chamomile

Pineapple weed (Matricaria discoidea) is an excellent herb for stress. It is also a pink eye remedy, stuffy nose remedy, stomach ache remedy, colic remedy, flatulence remedy, as well as itchy skin remedy.

The flowers exude a chamomile/pineapple aroma when crushed and is also called wild chamomile. They are edible and have been used in salads (although they may become bitter by the time the plant blooms) and to make herbal tea. The plant, when bruised and rubbed on skin, provides an effective, yet temporary insect repellent.

Make sure your using plants that are not subject to lawn chemicals or other toxins!
