Jewelweed for Poison Ivy

I have two grandchildren that get poison ivy every summer. They live quite far from each other, so each one manages to find the poison ivy. I made some homemade jewelweed salve and was surprised and delighted to find out this stuff really does work! I gave them some, gave away lots of it at work. Now people are begging me for it since they found out it really works! This is a great site, I love it!

Mugwort for poison oak

Soak mugwort leaves in a jar of 99% isopropyl alcohol for several days or weeks. Have it ready for future exposure. Use latex/nitrile gloves to apply liquid to affected area. Be cognizant of cross-contamination of other parts of body.
