Iodine supplement for depression.

I have been taking an iodine supplement for a couple of years now. I had a couple of years where I suffered from depression. It was pretty severe at times. With the use of this iodine supplement I seldom experience the horrible days that I did before adding this to my daily diet. I simply have a greater sense of well being. There are occasional days where the depression surfaces, but I attribute that to what I have eaten or had to drink the previous days. There are certain foods that effect the body's ability to absorb the iodine that is neccessary. An example I can share is: I take my quarter of an ounce of the iodine supplement every morning and every night. I usually wait one hour after taking it in the morning before drinking any coffee (caffiene). If I happen to drink any prior to the hour being over, I suffer for it the rest of the day. I have to say that I am very thankful that God blessed me with wisdom concerning my need for iodine.

In awe of iodine

I just took 800 mcg iodine (kelp supplement), and 30 min later for the first time in a very, very, very long time I remembered that life is "all good". That was something I'd known my whole life, but just couldn't remember this past year. I have tried over 50 natural supplements ranging from various amino acids to zinc and including powerful ones like lithium orotate. NONE of them do THIS. I just hope it lasts.
