Charcoal for Goats

I'm the same gal who makes the charcoal body scrub. I keep a large jar with a fifty fifty mix of powdered activated charcoal and white sugar in my pantry. If my goats ever have the misfortune of eating something toxic to them, I put out a big bowl of this mix. My goats gobble it right up since they love sweets. The charcoal binds the toxins. This either takes care of the entire problem or keeps things from progressing and getting worse until the vet gets there. It has literally been a life (many lives) saver for me and those ruminants I so dearly love. |
