Castor Oil to Remove Moles
& More

Using castor oil to remove moles is a non-toxic way to rid these pesty critters from your yard or garden.  They hate castor oil!  Just mix 1/2 cup of castor oil with 2 gallons of water and pour it into the animals hole.  This will not kill the mole but it will definitely look for a new home!

In case you thought I was talking about skin moles it's said that castor oil will not remove them but it does work on warts and skin tags.  Simply rub castor oil onto the wart or tag a couple times a day.  If the mole or wart is in a place where a small bandage can be used you can soak a cotton ball or small piece of flannel in the castor oil and hold it in place over night.  It may take up to a couple weeks but it does work!

Castor oil is an oil pressed from the castor bean and has been used for a multitude of home remedies for centuries.  It is said to be antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal.  Read on!

  1. Start with 2 rectangles of flannel or cotton fabric about the size of a piece of paper and fold them both in half.
  2. Soak the fabric in castor oil for about 1/2 hour.  The fabric should be fairly saturated but not dripping.
  3. Wrap the compress around the joint and cover it with plastic wrap and secure it with vet-wrap or tape.  Use good ole duct tape if you need to!
  4. Go to bed and wake up in the morning feeling much better!  You can store your compress in a plastic bag and reuse it the next night.  Add another dollop of castor oil if needed.
