ACV for Grey Hair

Apple cider vinegar. splashed liberally on grey hair, daily. It will smell nasty. not like vinegar. but after 2 weeks , maybe 3 the grey changed to black and grey, but still coarse. Now it is brown and normal texture, BUT only where I splashed the roots there.
